Semi Final Kitchen Thoughts

It's been a while since the last blog. Several developments have occurred that has diverted our attention from remodeling to The Great American Road Trip (GART - blog coming soon).

As far as the kitchen, below is the before and after shots. We still had plans for the hardwood floors but money is being diverted away from that to rescue the bathroom before it sinks in leaks.

First, the pink toilet sprung a leak every time we flushed so we COULD get a new toilet as pink is not our favorite color. But then we thought might as well get a new floor and replace the vanity and sink since the faucet drips. Too much work - fix the toilet.

BUT - last week we found MORE leaks beneath the sink. Now we have four rampaging leaks in the bathroom. Perhaps it would be best to veer away from the kitchen for a little while.

So - once The Trip Around America is over it's time to remodel the bathroom!

We also had new blinds installed in the living room - I WISH I had before and after photos but alas. You would not believe how much these cost. They look way nicer then the photo. Of course I clean up everything and now see I FORGOT THE IRONING BOARD LOL!
