Waiting Game

We received our Line of Credit on the 18th and within 2 hours were at Drexel getting the down payment on the countertops. We had to purchase a new under mount sink so add in an additional $350 to the already exploded estimate. Still it'll look great!

Thursday a rep is coming out to template the area and then about 3 weeks for the template to be turned in an Onix countertop.

In the meantime we came up with a problem for the front windows. We took into account our cat when we looked at the shades for each of the 6 windows. Each shade would have a speciel cord that would not tempt Milo. However, we did not take into account the fact that Milo likes to jump and cling onto things.

For instance, one day last summer DJ was in the front garden and Milo was looking at her through the screen door. He has this sudden urge to get out and takes a giant leap into the middle of the screen, grabbing on with all 20 claws.

As we (and Milo) found out the screen was on tight and still clinging with 20 toes the entire screen falls backwards with Milo still attached.

This is now in our minds when we think of putting in $2000 shades on 6 windows.

Hmmmmmm! No Plan "B" as of yet.

Wood floors are on hold until it gets warmer and Solatube middle March.
